Mountain biking for beginners Mountain biking is a fun, popular sport in the UK and Scotland has some of the best riding anywhere in the World! Not only is mountain biking a great way to keep fit, it is also a fantastic way to see the countryside. It is an activity that can be enjoyed by the whole family.
We have teamed up with the Scaladale Centre in Harris to provide a safe and fun introduction to the sport.
If you are new to mountain biking or if you just need to brush up on your skills, then our highly-experienced instructors will be able to give you expert tuition.
Here in Harris we have some incredible trails for more experienced riders but not so much for beginners, so the lessons will be held in Lews Castle grounds in Stornoway. The castle has some purpose-built trails for mountain bikes and a good skills area for learning. The Castle has a cafe and museum for those who aren't riding.
Bikes and helmets will be included in the price of the lesson. Sorry these 2 sessions are now sold out. See below for guided mountain bike ride on Harris
